Fees and Policies

Reframe Psychiatry, PLLC does not currently contract with any insurance companies. All fees are charged to the credit card on file at the time of the appointment. A superbill of services can be provided to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, depending on their out-of-network behavioral health benefits policy. 

Initial consultations typically last 75 minutes, and cost $350. 

After the initial consultation, follow-up appointments are typically scheduled every 4-6 weeks until psychiatric symptoms are felt to be stable, and then as necessary thereafter (but minimum of one visit every 3 months).  

Standard follow-up appointments last 25 minutes, and cost $175. 

Therapy sessions, or extended follow-ups in select circumstances, last 50 minutes, and cost $200. Regular therapy sessions are typically weekly or bi-weekly (may vary based on availability), and the duration of treatment varies based on your unique situation.

Time spent outside of the appointment related to your treatment (phone support with the patient or with other providers if needed, document preparation) is charged at $50 per 15 minutes.

All sessions with Dr. Salg are conducted via Telehealth (virtual visits), as there is no physical office location presently. Dr. Salg recommends you find a quiet and private space to sit during the appointment to minimize interruptions. 

If there are significant technical difficulties, poor videoconferencing connections, or repeated interruptions, we may have to stop and/or reschedule the appointment. If an emergency arises during the session, please call 911. No recordings or screenshots will be made of any Telehealth visits.  

As noted above, to remain a patient of Dr. Salg you must be seen at least once every 3 months unless there is a mutually agreed exception. If more than 90 days elapse without contact, or you miss three appointments without adequate notice, you may be discharged from the practice. 

You will not be charged for canceling an appointment more than 48 hours in advance. Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will result in being charged a flat fee of $100. Missing an appointment without contacting Dr. Salg will result in being charged for the full cost of that session. If you are more than 15 minutes late to the scheduled appointment, you will also be charged the full cost of that session.  

The best way to communicate with Dr. Salg is by sending a message through the patient portal. You can also contact Dr. Salg by phone; he will check voicemails periodically and respond as time permits.

This is a small practice without administrative staff, social work/case management, or after-hours services. If you have complex care needs requiring help with housing, legal issues, etc. you may be better served by establishing care with an organization that provides these services.
